Here is a weekly summary of some random things in my life. Basically, it’s a list of what I’m watching, listening to, pondering and exploring.
What I’m watching
Night Sky – on Amazon Prime
Irene and Franklin York, a retired couple, have a secret: a Chamber buried in their backyard that miraculously leads to a strange, deserted planet. When an enigmatic young man arrives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is upended and the mysterious Chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could have ever imagined. Starring Sissy Spacek and JK Simmons. Does this have anything to with church planting? No, but church planters and their teams do need some down time and this has been a great series to binge watch. Take a day – relax. You deserve it.

The book I finished reading:
This book by Dan Kimball is something we can all glean from – atheist, seeker, to “all-in” followers of Jesus. He has a way of clarifying many passages that are often brought up in conversations with those who are more than will to debate one’s faith.
Something I’m pondering:
“Don’t Just”
Don’t just learn, experience.
Don’t just read, absorb.
Don’t just change, transform.
Don’t just relate, advocate.
Don’t just promise, prove.
Don’t just criticize, encourage.
Don’t just think, ponder.
Don’t just take, give.
Don’t just see, feel.
Don’t just dream, do.
Don’t just hear, listen.
Don’t just talk, act.
Don’t just tell, show.
Don’t just exist, live.”
